Beauty Blvd presents

A LITTLE
MORE HUMAN.

Four small projects.
One shared neighbourhood.

Making time for each other. Saying something kind. Noticing the people who make this neighbourhood feel like home.

That’s the idea behind A LITTLE MORE HUMAN, a collection of community projects we’re bringing to Balmain. You don’t need to be a Beauty Blvd client, and you don’t need to take part in everything.

Small ways to connect.

We’re introducing the projects in stages. Follow @beautyblvdsyd for opening details and confirmed locations.

01

The Compliment Project.

A few words can change someone’s day.

Tear-off flyers with kind words to keep or pass on. Choose a line for yourself, give it to someone you appreciate, or write a note of your own.

We’re preparing the first flyer locations. While we do, tell someone they make your ordinary days better.

02

GOOD COMPANY.

Make a moment with your person.

A shared-photo project using mirrors as a reason to stop with a mate, partner or family member and take a photo together. Keep it for yourselves, or share it if you feel like it.

Mirror locations and participation details are on their way. In the meantime, make that walk or coffee happen.

03

BEFORE I FORGET.

One day, I’m going to…

Take the trip. Learn something new. Make time for an old friend. This project gives the things you still want to do a little room, starting with one unfinished sentence.

Contribution cards and ways to share are being prepared. For now, write your answer somewhere you’ll come across it again. Keeping it private counts too.

04

The Good Neighbour Awards.

Some people make a place.

A thank-you for the people whose everyday kindness helps Balmain feel like a neighbourhood. The person who checks in, offers a hand or quietly keeps showing up.

We’re getting the private nomination process ready. We’ll share how to nominate when it opens, and ask permission before sharing anyone’s story.

A little room for more of this.

Follow the projects as they take shape. Have a Balmain business or community space that could host a compliment flyer? We’d love to talk about what could work.
